Have you read the book? Have you seen the show? If you answered NO to both then you really need to remedy that! I discovered the book about a year ago, and I really enjoyed it. Then the show premiered on Jan 1, and I instantly fell in love with it! This isn’t one of the shows with a grand reveal at the end. It’s organization on a real level. We see real homes with real people and families who live real lives. No fancy designers. If you want to go through the process with me, then you will definitely want to stay tuned. We start February 1st. So you have time to get to the library and check out the book so you have an idea of what we’re doing. Yes, my suggestion is the library! Because it’s free, and because you have to give it back so it won’t add clutter to your home! But if you insist on buying it, then may I suggest the ebook? We are trying to eliminate the clutter not add to it. It’s a really easy read. You’ll have it done in a couple days, i promise. When we start the process, we will go in the same order as Marie suggests. There is something to her method that truly works. We will spend 1 week on each lesson. So that’s 5 weeks total. The lessons are as follows... 1. Clothing 2. Books 3. Paper 4. Komono (miscellaneous) 5. Sentimental items We will get into the details of what miscellaneous things are and the sentimental things once we begin the challenge. Each lesson will begin on a Saturday so that you have the weekend to really start the new lesson and get a feel for what will be involved for you. Remember that everyone’s journey is going to be different. Everyone’s home is different, and has different belongings. If you want to take the steps to clear clutter and organize your home, then you will want to follow along. Remember, if you need more hands on help to declutter and organize your home, I’m only a phone call away. I can do virtual sessions as well as in-home organizing.
